Jasper

He was four hours old when I met him today. He didn't say anything - the quiet type. Two hours earlier, when I'd heard the news from proud dad on a 'pass it on' basis, I found I had to fight back tears - a mixture of joy, relief and wonder - as I played my part in the relay.

His big sister was a 'miracle' baby. That made Jasper a second miracle. No-one thought it possible. He was a big surprise, yet his mother took it in her stride.
