The Castaways

Called "The Castaways", it was cast away on the ancient isle of Anglesey. Owned by my father in law’s cousin, to get there was a long drive over fields avoiding potholes. Reservations by telephone only. They didn’t like your voice... they were fully booked!

My ‘Queen’s English’ did the trick! We fought our way there. The menu offered great choice; duck, hot or cold! It was wonderful. Leaving wasn’t. Now totally dark, it was so spooky. Completely lost, we ended up who knows where, except that it wasn’t where we should be. Cast away.

And they were full every night!
