Death Row

The will to live is incredible. Nature provides such energy, the energy that begets confidence, enthusiasm and optimism. The life force.

Every day it's there...but I'm on Death Row. Shortly after dawn every day, my executioner prepares me for Madame la Guillotine and sharpens the blade. I'm innocent of course and every day I wait in vain for a reprieve, but with ruthless efficiency, my hopes are cut down to size.

Every day I try to keep my head, but it's impossible. I have to speak out.
