The New Beginning

I knew the moment had finally come. We had spent our final moments together and it was now coming to an end. The laughs, the hugs, the adventures rushed into my mind. Goodbye to you. The hours spent sitting around doing absolutely nothing. Goodbye to you. The movies watched, the music listened to, the letters written, the friends made, goodbye to you. All of the artwork that symbolized every milestone in my life. Goodbye to you. I begin to weep, but I am comforted by the incoming thoughts. To my former home, thank you for the memories.
