On a beautiful June Ides, Thor stood there with his good friend Jupiter, enjoying the celebrations.
"Who's that over there? I don't believe I've seen him before." Thor shrugged.
"What a strange looking chap. I mean, having white hair and beard is one thing, but he's got wrinkles! He looks like an old man!"
Thor shrugged again. "Apparently he thinks it makes him look distinguished. He doesn't even have a name."
"You're kidding?"
"Nope. From what I hear the people just call him 'God'."
"Oh, wow! That's really underhanded. I guess that explains why I've lost so many followers recently."

I thought you were describing Odin but Thor would've known who he was since that was his father.
Nice to see the founder of Drablr still posting drabbles every now and then.

Great to see you inspired again, Michael. It’s starting to inspire me too. I’m running a workshop on drabbling for an open air theatre festival we have in my village in a couple of weeks, so maybe there’ll be an influx of new Drablrs if I can enthuse them 🤞.

Thanks chaps!
Good luck with the festival Neville. I hope lots of people attend and have fun with the drabble writing!

Thanks Michael. I love being on stage, but the closer it gets, the scarier also😬

Great twist. I was expecting a classical God, too. Very clever and amusing.
