After the Chaos came Order

It's been a year since the kidnappings. So-called civilized society is still recovering from the largest upheaval in human history. The alien ships quickly subdued Earth's militaries. Since there had never been a planet-wide defense force, the takeover was easy.

Then the ruling bodies of every political and religious organization were simply plucked up and whisked away--along with anyone who dared replace them. We were told by the aliens we are a homogeneous species and to start acting like one.

Those who resist are discovered and removed for the greater good. Earth has never been so peaceful.
