The dawn of the Information Age in the early part of the century morphed into an amalgamation of the corporeal: books, periodicals, personal data devices, terminal input stations, multimedia entertainment centers, and data entry adapters with the incorporeal: electronic data streams of cyberinformation manipulated and maintained by cybernauts.
Norman was a newly certified cybernaut; a human interface. Thanks to cerebral implants, cybernauts literally plugged themselves into local and global networks while still maintaining a conscious connection with the real world around them. Being able to jack into the WorldNet was not without its drawbacks as Norman would soon find out.
