He looked a yob from my place in the witness box faced across the courtroom standing in the dock even though his mother had tried unsuccessfully to tart him up in a cheap black suit and tie uncomfortably worn. I was there for the Crown to help send him down for beating up my friend - and he looked a nasty piece of work. He’d a mean taut face, skin head and obviously shown zero interest in education.
He admitted being at the scene and a member of a gang known for wreaking gratuitous violence - how could he plead not guilty?
