On the Loose at Christmas 🎄

This month I recalled a ritual Christmas lunch with my young secretary. We had much in common, a sense of fun and adventure and were very close though not enough to threaten our respective marriages.
She chose an atmospheric restaurant with little chance of being interrupted.
The playful chat I was relishing was unexpectedly dashed when a mate, off the leash, was shown to the table alongside with his fanciable young assistant. We left them to it after an enjoyable meal - What they did afterwards I can’t say. Did he confide in his other half because he didn’t tell me?
