The Wild West was wild, but especially butch. Transgender and gay cowboys pretended to be blokes and reluctantly spoke profundo.
Marilyn though, a brave exception, confounded this prejudice - he wore fine leather high heeled boots, eyeliner, lipstick and rode a palomino with pink saddle and matching ribbons tied down its immaculate mane. His long barrelled pearl encrusted Colt 45 was also much revered.
Sheriff Justin Tolerant, a bluff bigot, thinking he was defending the indigenous culture, proclaimed he would drive Marilyn out of town.
And that's how the queer cowboy came to ride into town and shot up the sheriff!
