You dream of smoke one last time
Last night
When Morpheus himself held you in his arms
Like the child you once were
And then you wake again
In the same place you always do
Slumped on a monobloc chair
In a roomful of millenials
With souls older than earth itself
But where the senile sun rotted
In his serpent-fodder boat
An angel named Asrael came
Bearing the name
Baldur

When Nyx passed trailing her midnight dress over your sickly yellow glow
Dawn came a-cracking
And so did a branch
Falling on your head
Falling back to sleep

Is this, like, a combination of Greek and Norse myth?? Because I saw the names Nyx and Baldur.

Anyway, it was really good. I cannot find a word to describe it, tho. ;)

Oh, and it's everything Kyle. Egyptian, Greek, Norse, Arabic... It's not like a lot of people remember, though.
