“She’s not right in the head,” growled Frank. “Thirteen is too old to have an imaginary friend.” Frank took another swig of Bud and belched.

“She’s sensitive. She needs an outlet.” Even saying that, Janice knew that Frank spoke true about his step-daughter.

Georgia whispered to thin air. “Frank’s horrible.” The air replied, “Don’t worry, sweetie, he’s next.”
