Disillusion

She sat with herself looking at the TV. The group on the news looked so pathetic; like a nerd party, with no relief. The advertisement said that there would be a free Dutch lunch served. From her past experience this brought out the fat and poor people. Fat people annoyed her the most. She could read on their faces why they were there. The fringe. She got goose bumps just thinking about how she used to be a part of that crowd. She thought, “People were normal when I started going to those things. Maybe the lunatics are following me.”.
