I dreamt I heard the church bells’ gentle call to Evensong
Though the rising sunlight bathed my eyes so I knew I must be wrong
And the church now lies in ruins, since the third holy uprising
And everyone’s oppressed nowadays which isn’t surprising
Recorded chants call all the faithful to assemble
For today’s a special event, as I remember
A day of reckoning where infidels like me
Will finally pay the price for our apostasy
Cell door clanks open, they lead me to the rooftops
No maker meeting for this one, just my pitiful scream as my body drops
