Moonstruck, I
Never wanted to fly
Was afraid of the dark
Scared of a shadow
Earthbound, you
Were determined to do
All that you wished
Forbidden or allowed
Star-crossed, we
Are still cautious yet free
Earthbound but moonstruck
So did what we had to
Sunkissed girl
In a mad man’s world
You were leading him on
At least that was his view
Skyward, I
Would push that lecherous guy
He hit the ground dead
You helped me get off
Hellbound, we
Seemed now set to be
But you and your talents
Proved to be just enough
Folie à deux

Fabulous, Lewis! A terrific poem about a condition that I have learnt a tiny bit about, by ‘researching’ (=Googling) in the past five minutes. I love and am fascinated by your rhyming convention... it’s very clever, and an engaging tale that I will return to with increasing delight. Thanks for posting.
