Black and White
John didn’t know that his life had been so dreary as he had a happy childhood in a simple sort of way but it was definitely graphite. His grandchildren had spotted him in old family photos looking very HB.
“What was it like,” they asked, “living in black and white?”
When he saw YouTube clips of old hit songs there was 1959 skimming along with those revolutionary rock songs by Elvis, Little Richard and Buddy Holly..all in black and white.
It was then he remembered that his trendy bird’s eye jacket was in a fashionable charcoal. Very stylish he was.

Hahaha! I remember black and white! But unlike John’s recollection, my youth was definitely Technicolour!… like my very blue bike, hand painted by me.
