Who’s The Fool?

John took his wife a cup of tea at 7, went in the bedroom and was just about to put it on the bedside cabinet when he remembered that she wanted to be awake at 8. He turned and went out with the cup.

That morning she told him she thought she was losing her mind as earlier as she was waking she thought she heard him come in the room and put the cup on the bedside table but when she awoke the cup wasn’t there.

“Oh dear,” he said. “But it is April Fools Day today, chicken pie.”
