As a teenager Roger wrote off to all the local football clubs seeking a trial. The only reply was from a lower league team but he was disappointed when they didn’t offer him a contract.

A scout approached him when he played for a local team. He was impressed with Roger’s relentless running, clever passing and goal scoring.

Those abilities took him to the top of the professional game where he scored the important goals to help his team win the First Division. His progress was unstoppable as he went on to win a World Cup winner’s medal in 1966.

Well done (Sir) Roger. It shows what World Cup Will can do!

Nice, although I don't know who this is. I first thought it was going to be about Roger Moore (my favorite Bond).
