A cold fog drifted down the darkness of the Hollywood hills and engulfed everything in its murky gloom. The young actress clambered up a rickety maintenance ladder onto the big sign before swan-diving off the top of the letter H.

Another Hollywood dream dies.

Her broken body was found along with a single shoe and suicide note which read: ‘I am afraid. I am a coward. I am sorry for everything.’

The second shoe was never found although rumours say it's buried at the foot of the letter Y… a poignant reminder to keep your feet on the ground.
