A few "science nut-jobs" shouted a bit, communicating Armageddon type stuff on old analog technology. Digital was the loudest voice in the 21st century and drowned out the white noise. Life continued normally, well almost. Global markets stabilised to an unprecedented state. World food stocks were redistributed evenly across the planet. Volatile aggression between nations abated to a near utopia state.
