Oh Mama Where Did Your Voice Go

"Jauana and Coco are coming over mama," I say to my mama. Mama cannot speak anymore because of the new President...President..Rump?..Lump?..TRUMP!
She wrote on paper when Mr. Rump was elected,
"Señora, I love you very much but you must understand the world is not the same anymore. It is not a safe place especially for our peoples. I am taking a stand of silence much like our ancestors did before us when they were shown inhumanity in our world. I pray for the day when I can speak your name again, mi amor."
