An explosion rattled the wall as he hunkered against it.
This mission was screwed from the start. he thought, as another round of explosions rocked the shuttle bay.
He was certain there'd been a mole in his squad. But who?
Time for contemplation had run out; the shuttle's automatic door had opened.
Gotta get out of here or this'll be a complete failure.
Enemy fire flared overhead as he boarded the small craft, barely missing him.
As the soldiers closed in, the hatch sealed, allowing him some relief.
His respite would be short-lived; the hidden homing beacon blinked ominously.
