I have always hated sunlight, for it burned my eyes.
I was walking outside, squinting so I could block out the sunlight, and then I saw you. You smiled, and it was a smile that was brighter than the sun. I hated it.
You went on along your way, but then you looked back and smiled again. I hated it again, because I can’t block you out. I hated it, because it made me smile back. I hated it, because you’re not even supposed to affect me in any way.
Now, I will always hate you, for you burn me.
