When he was young, sometimes his Dad would wake him up to look at something in the sky. Dad called them Wake-Up Call nights. He'd bring him his coat for over his pj's. Then he'd usher him into the yard saying, "Look up!" He never knew what he was supposed to look at. One time he didn't have to ask because the sky was ablaze with light - blues and greens swirled together. It was the northern lights. He's never seen them since. But when he did, he was in pajamas, in his yard, and he was with his dad.
