Phone clamped between shoulder and ear, she counted her rows of knitting, pleased with her progress. 3rd in the queue. She put her knitting down. Two minutes later, a real voice spoke in her ear.

‘Good morning, how can I help you today?’

Having held on for so long, Josie couldn’t remember and put the phone down. Then she did remember . . .
