Granddad's Online Shop

“You’ll need to shop online,” we said.
Granddad didn’t want to learn to use a computer. “I’m too old to learn new tricks,” he told us.
“You live miles from anywhere and you can’t drive anymore,” we reminded him. “It’s the only way if you want to avoid going into a nursing home.”
He took the hint and bought a computer.
Three weeks later he proudly announced: “I’ve done it. I’ve made my first order.”
“Next day delivery?” we asked, anticipating custard tarts, granddad’s favourite treat.
“No. In four months. She’s coming all the way from the Philippines, after all.”
