Confession ...

Last Thursday I've played scrabble.
But when I read the babble,
I counted (no turds)
really - one hundred words.
The solutions could well yield a drabble...

From "arbor" it went, alphabetically
ahead, passing "bingo", "catastrophy"
and "dumpling" and "fango"
and furthermore "mango"
and then just went on, quite fantastically.

Some words, I thought, just were not "it".
Like "cumbersome" or "counterfeit".
Also "humble" and "sticky"
I found rather tricky.
That's something I got to admit.

I finally became rather tense,
put together the words made no sense.
They landed below
in the wastebasket. Lo!

I confess:
it's been a pretense.
