Despicable Missy #6

by

I am confused. Nothing new as my brain can’t multitask. Hiding behind my tree, spying on Reginald, I saw Mama coming out of the bank, all made up (it looked like she had some Botox done) and smiling up to him. Strange. I didn’t realise they knew each other.
Know other, indeed, they did. Reginald took Mama’s hands into his, kissed her on the lips. I cringed, her lips definitely looked pumped up, like Daisy Duck’s distant relation. For a brief instant, Mama turned her face towards me and I squashed myself against the trunk, hoping she wouldn’t spot me.

Shocking! It all sounds rather creepy to a young miss. Mama Mia! (Which was playing on the TV as I wrote this!)

I was stuck a while with our young Missy as,I have to admit, I couldn’t decide if she should be evil or simply naive. I have always been told to make a writing plan but I find that with drabbles, I go where the words take me.

Well you’re not alone there, Frenchie, I rarely have a plan for anything I write. Somehow it seems anti-creative to me to kick off with the ‘left brain’. There’s a time for planning maybe, but after you’ve got some stuff out of your ‘right brain’... the creative side. At least, that what I think (when, rarely, I think about it!).🤔
