Despicable Missy #2

by

Being blackmailed isn't an enjoyable situation.
My decision is made. The Earl is an old dear who thinks his young wife is a paragon of virtue, not the little gold digger people say I am.
I ask him if he would like to spend the morning by the lake. The path is a steep slope. I lose my footing and the Earl's wheelchair goes down racing towards the lake. My cries of panic alert the butler who comes back to me, grim-faced and distraught.
'My Lady, the Earl is dead,' he sobs pathetically.
I faint.
Time for plan B.

I am working on plan B. It just takes long in coming . I made the mistake to kill the Earl . Now I am stuck lol... I'll get unstuck eventually :) and on the other hand, it does not really need a sequel.

@francine Not that you "need" a sequel, but if questions were asked or anyone thought "gold digger" then the butler COULD have suspicion at some point. Just an observation! ha. Plan B. How much was he left in a will IF if the butler was in it? Food for thought anyway. :)

Ha ha, thank you @flyingkat. My, you are the dark one, I always assumed the Earl was dead from the ride to the lake but , I forgot, the butler always does it :-) new material to work with. Grateful me.!
