Not Invincible

“Come on, just try it Chase! Stop being a baby!”

Aiden held out the vape to me.

“I’d rather be a baby than die young.”

“Would you stop being dramatic for 5 seconds. If you don’t like it then fine, but at least try it.”

“This isn’t like trying broccoli for the first time idiot!

Aiden brings the vape to his mouth.

“We’re young! It’ll be fine!”

A puff of smoke blew out of Aiden’s mouth.

“You’re not invincible, idiot.”

I gripped the therapist’s pillow hard.

“That was the last conversation I had with him before he died that night.”
