The Dragon of Netherpeak slumbered in his cavern, waking only to provide the humans below with flame for their hearths. The humans all loved him, and worshipped him as their god.
But the king thought differently. He was jealous that the townfolk loved the dragon more than they loved him. So he spread his lies and the people grew to hate and fear the dragon.
And one day, the king and his men rode to Netherpeak with murder in mind. There, they unsheathed their wicked swords, and the dragon's heart filled with pain and rage. And he slaughtered them all.

Slaughtered them all? Quite right too! He should now be king, King Hearther of Netherpeak.
