A poem I found, written by a ten-year-old member of my family, which is shorter than the 100 words but charming in it’s own right. It was written in 1983, but I think it is worth an airing.
What a lovely little bird
Singing in the sky
He sings the most romantic word
I wish that I could fly.
That bird did just flutter off
Singing in the breeze
I’m all alone, I’ll just pop off
Before I freeze
I’m home again, in my house
With nothing to do.
I’ve just spotted a dormouse
Running past the loo.

I love it, Richard! Just calculating who it must be.... ah, I have it!

Yes, I was quite surprised, I only found it recently. It is totally unchanged from what I have written here. It is signed and dated!
