The Rejection Letter

"Thank you for considering our magazine for your work." What next, a "however" and a "not quite the right fit for us" or "please read some back issues to see the sort of thing we publish"? Or possibly "we only publish works by Australian (or Canadian) writers."
However, since he landed a well-paid job as a copywriter, with Global Consolidated, Gregor had worked out a useful and satisfying response to any and every rejection. It was not particularly polite but it was to the point. He sent back a carefully-worded stock email, this time he was rejecting them.
