Ear To The Evening
Apparent silence
Can be deceptive the ear
Not strained , attentive
May be rewarded
With sounds to help decipher
Soundlessness and space
Some noises only
Seem alive yet some are made
By moving dreaming
Denziens of shadow jungles
Pygmy Crocodiles
May move the air with sounds
Like a cow mooing
The mirid bug roars
By leaf tremble transmission
Lion of the bough
Who told us all this?
Oh Katy did.Katydid
The name given to
As a sound made by
Silence breaking bush crickets
It would make my week
If pirate spiders
Were found to seemingly say
Ahoy there Jim lad

Absolutely fascinating. Of course, I did google pirate spiders and I wish I didn't since I am petrified of spiders. Interesting to know, from a non native English speaker, that I thought you made a mistake with Katydid and your forgot the space. Clever thing you did there. 😉

Thank you Frenchie.. ☺ I've never found spiders frightening really though I can find the way they deal with their prey ¹disturbing(Not their fault of course ☺ Have you ever seen footage of jumping spiders? I think even people who hate most spiders can find them cute as they seem playful.almost like cats.
