Not Allowed To Do It Anymore

I used to love making tea coffee and hot chocolate for people awaiting their appointments in the hospital Transport Lounge, and on those occasions when I managed the seemingly impossible balancing act of putting enough milk in an instant hot chocolate without turning it into a cold one, it went down well with the patients too. I liked to weave the proffering of the drinks provided into my porter patter and it irked me when yet again, someone behind a desk interrupted my offering a patient a drink to ask me to offer that patient a drink .
