'So cold. How may more of these-'
'-We're about half way up. Take a breather?
'Wouldn't get up again. I'll be alright. Anyway. Not about me.'
'No. Nip of brandy?'
'Worse than sitting down. Thanks. What a place to hang .. Is that..?'
'I think so.'
'Eyes saying it had better be up there.'
'Correctly'
'If it isn't. Oh. We're here.'
'Nothing else is.'
'So.. '
'So we go back down, and up the next tower, and then the next, if need be.'
'I...Don't know if I can take this.'
'As you say. Not about you.'
'

Interesting, Jamie. What I’m looking for is... understanding... but a nip of brandy wouldn’t go amiss either!

Truthfully Neville I don't know who they are or what they're doing up wherever it is. Just playing with dialogue only drabbling. :-)

Actually Frenchie I've never read or seen The Lord Of The Rings! ;-)) Not sure what they're looking for and we could be in danger from the one offering the brandy if we knew.... ;-)

Thanks Jamie... and why not! And responding to your comment to Frenchie, you are not alone. I have never read a single Lord of the Rings book or watched any part of an LotR movie, and, shock horror, the same goes for Harry Potter, even though I saw Hazza’s sidekick Ron Weasley at Midnight Mass one Christmas in the next village because he has a mansion there (where his folks now live).

I love the Lord of the Rings, thebook, not the film. THe film is definitely not faithful to the book, unlike Harry Potter.
I love that drabble too... :-D I wonder if a film can be made from just a 100 words?

Nice idea for a drabble, dialogue only. I might try my hand at this sometime.
