Tongue Twister

In between studying advanced mathematics and language studies, Alexa had found a strange phrase tagged in the back of one of her library books in faint pencil.

The first time she read it, her brain froze and screamed. Half of her thought the letters were Russian smashed with Japanese. Yet somehow, after many sleepless nights, she finally cracked it.

With the translation done, she chose to speak the words out loud. They had an elastic, yet electric rhythm that twisted too nicely on the tongue. Her unstoppable chanting woke a Dark God that day, and she became a cyber slave.
