DEADLY THORNS

Alito came home, to find his father dead.
The kitchen was a mess; only the table was intact
His mother in tears said, “How can he be GONE?! WHY?!!!”
Alito decided to take this into his own hands.
He called the police, who sent detective Wayne.
Alito said, “I was at school and so was my brother Michael.”
Wayne concluded, “I know the culprit!”
“A Convict?!” Michael screamed.
“Your Mother did!” He explained.
He showed them the flowers on the kitchen table.
The flower was oleander.
“How did you know?” Mother asked.
Wayne said, “Never leave evidence on the table.”
