Don's Turn

Donald fancied odd but really pretty Jessica. Donald was shy speaking to any girls, and Jessica was special. She had a freestanding stall in the Town Centre, reading Tarot cards and telling fortunes, while he was a fat, prematurely balding shopping mall security guard.

Today he was jealous because Jessica seemed comfortable with a thin, shifty-looking guy hanging around her while she packed up. He ran off with her bag of takings.

Donald rugby-tackled him, returned her bag. She promised a reading.

"I don't be-"

The first card turned was The Lovers.

"About time, Don!" Jessica smiled.
