If you ask me, I was born to recline on divans made of rose petals. Born to wear rich gowns of silk and brocade, to adorn my arms with pearls and opals while powerful kings fought to grace my heavy plaits with golden ribbons.
Alas, destiny is not always au rendez-vous!
I check out goods all day long at the supermarket. My uniform is of rough, itchy polyester with sweat patches under the arms.
Long is the queue, impatient the customers, but I daydream of a prince charming while scanning canned food and vegs, to escape my harsh reality.

Ah... but the power of the daydreams is magical! My wife always daydreamed of marrying a prince. Somehow she settled for me. Looking at some of the princes knocking around right now, she says maybe they’re not worth daydreaming about!

Ah, but you are a prince in your own right, Neville. Mrs H is smart, she saw your worth 😊 I hope her convalescence is going well. Sending her virtual healing hugs.🧡
