I love my kids (groan)

The most unnerving time that happens I'd say.
When my tech savvy son comes home for a day to stay.
I and my computer are happy and used to my way.
"Dad I haven't much time but we will fix up your machine".
Then envy pops out, a new toy all shiny and clean.
He goes to work, pulls the cabinet apart.
Overdrives my cpu, two VDU screens and a SSD in it's heart.
We fire it up and it goes like the stink.
Again months to relearn my machine.
So I can relax and feel connected and finally blink.
