Superhero Small Talk #2

Batman nodded, "It's nothing but problems, isn't it? Robin is giving me fits."

"Really?" Superman asked. "How so?"

"You know how teenagers are. He won't keep his end of the Batcave clean. And every time we go out on patrol at night he wants to drive. You'd think I was his sidekick. I took that little bastard in when his parents died because I knew how that felt. And all I get in return is a snot nosed, ungrateful punk that thinks the world owes him something."

They heard the Joker's maniacal laugh in the distance.

"Let's go!" Batman yelled.

Superhero Small Talk #1

Batman and Superman are crouched on a rooftop in Metropolis on the cusp of a pitched battle with all their sworn enemies.

"So, how're things in Gotham?" Superman asked.

"The usual," Batman said in a gruff voice. "Corrupt politicians, cops on the take, psychotic madmen running wild. Nothing I can't handle. How's Lois?"

Superman looked down, "She's kind of sore at me."

"How come?"

He shrugged, "I was supposed to cook dinner when she was out on assignment, forgot until the last minute and tried to preheat the oven with my x-ray vision and I melted the damned thing."
