On No #5

It’s corny music night in the luxuriant garden of this French colonial hotel in effect just a posh nursing home. One dreads to guess what sort of music will appeal to this mainly grey haired well heeled audience a smidgen away from senile incarceration.
The two young troubadours, perched on their barstools facing this yawning age gap aren’t promising either - she could’ve just been hoovering the sitting room floor and he could’ve crept out of a fosse septique. What’s their strategy going to be? Framed by gigantic palms, the Atlantic at their backs they break into American Pie - oh no!
