Anna's Dream 4/4

Anna Had A Dream #4

Anna left home on her eighteen birthday. For a while, her manfolk grumbled about having no one to look after the house. They concluded that the little rat was as ungrateful as her mother.
So, you may ask, where is Anna?
Anna is simply where she should be. She may be your neighbour or the fruit seller in the market. She could even be your children's nanny.
The bottom line is that everyone has a dream. It doesn't matter what it is, your dream is your guide in life.
Don't let it escape. Run after it wherever it takes you.

Anna's Dream... 3/4

Anna Had a Dream #3

Anna turned sixteen.

In true Cinderella's fashion, she had grown into a beautiful, kind young lady. Even the second hand clothes she wore couldn't conceal her grace. Anna was a popular girl at college, especially with the boys but she had not time for them. No time indeed.

Her life was a race between homework, never finished household chores and the endless demands from her manfolk. Adding to this, she was now the unpaid accountant for two of her brothers since they'd discovered she was a genius at maths.

Still, Anna would sing to the birds and keep her dream....

Anna's Dream 2/4

Anna Had a Dream #2

Against all odds, Anna grew up happy.

She'd decided long ago that her father and brothers were from the prehistoric era and there was no way she could change that. They were totally oblivious of her needs, usually unaware of her existence unless they needed something. She was, after all, a mere girl.

She even forgave her father for his lack of care and harsh treatment because she understood that she reminded him of the wife who'd ran away.

She missed school a lot but she always managed to keep good marks.

It wasn't easy but Anna had a dream...

Anna's Dream 1/4

Anna Had a Dream #1

Anna has always been the caring type.
When her mum left her behind with her four brothers and her dad, she learned how to make herself useful.
At eight, she learned cooking for five men, do the laundry, keep the house clean, do the groceries and budget with the meager amount her father left her after his sessions at the bookmakers.
Anna never complained when day after day, she picked up her lazy brothers' dirty socks, when her father hit her because she didn't press his shirt to perfection when he was going on a date.
