Despair the third act

Uno #5

"Leave him alone!" Sherrie begged.

Sitting in tears, trembling, James threw his head into his hands, trying to calculate what is going on.

"Open the fucking door you little shit!" Dick screamed, almost bashing the door down.

The banging stopped, the house goes quiet.

"What are you away to do with that!?" Sherrie screamed, panicky tones ran through her voice.

James heard Dick leave the room and thump downstairs.

"Bastard!! Sherrie, come look at this" He demanded.

James listened intently from behind his door.

"What... what have you done!?" Sherrie gasped.

"This was your psycho son, he's in trouble now!"

Despair continued

Uno #4

"Look at your perfect little psycho now Sherrie!" Dick snarled as he took a few small steps towards James.

"Drop the knife, boy!" Yelled Dick.

"James, please just drop it!" Sherrie pleaded through the tears.

James stood there, frozen in the spot. His mind hadn't quite caught up with his actions. He knew being 11, if he drops this knife, Dick would be free to beat him up.

James panics, drops the knife and runs to his own bedroom, Dick closely behind him.

James sits down, crying, blocking the door, he felt the force of the kicks on his back.

Despair

Uno #3

Screams. A familiar sound in his home, were slightly worse this time. James decided to get up and peek into his mothers bedroom.
Sherrie was being pinned down, choked, by Dick who was snarling at her.
"James, get help!" Sherrie gasped.
Dick turned to James, his eyes bulging, his face full of evil.
James ran downstairs, in a panic. He didn't know where to go, he didn't know who to seek help from. In that moment he rashly took matters in his own hands.
Grabbing a kitchen knife James runs back upstairs and throws open the door.
"Get off her!"

Grounded

Uno #2

Looking out his bedroom window, James watches, with feeling of jealousy and self-pity as the other kids in the street are running around and laughing.
Dick had decided to ground James, yet again, for being cheeky apparently. This was something that never happened five years ago before his mother, Sherrie, met and married him.
Grounded, to Dick, wasn't just not being allowed out. It was a fun ban. Dick would make sure to become a funny and great guy, downstairs with the rest of James's family in order to rub it in further, the anger inside of James grew...
