Maudsley always wished he was taller.
One day, his wish came true.
At six feet, he walked confidently with a swagger.
A few days later he hit eight feet. He began to worry.
The weekend after, at eleven feet tall, he stopped going outside.
When he reached sixteen feet, he had to break a hole through his ceiling to stand up comfortably.
Now his growth was exponential, unstoppable. He reached far above the houses, the roads seeming like thin veins beneath him.
His head in the clouds, he sighed, watching an aeroplane flash past.
But how to get back down?
