Whenever My End Shall Come

I've always liked life with a hint of danger. I placed the call to the hit-man (who assured me he always took the safety off before an assignment) and gave him details of the target. I told him I'd expect the hit to be completed inside the next week.

The target? Me.

I'd decided to commit suicide some time ago, but felt the whole 'hanging myself' thing was a bit too blasé. Now I could approach my final days not knowing when the inevitable would happen.
