Banged Up

It was part of the Government's plan to reduce violence and sexual assaults in prisons. I was chosen as one of the first to - rather than be sent to jail - spend an eight-hour session at a different prison each week. My task? To provide 'light relief' for the male prisoners.

I was told in gruesome detail of my expected duties - restrained in stocks, where a steady stream of prisoners would visit the room to have their way with me.

After my first session of abuse in the stocks, it made me ponder the meaning of the term 'banged up'.
