My parents tucked heartily into what had once been my best friend Shaun. I'd lost what appetite I had when I looked into the bowl of stew and found an eyeball staring accusingly back at me.
'What's wrong, honey? You haven't touched your eyeballs...' Mum said. I stared at her as she chewed meat from a small bone, dropping it onto her side-plate with a clink.
All I'd wanted was to be a normal kid, with normal friends. That will never be possible. My mind wandered as I thought of ways I would exact my revenge.
They will pay.
