He was reserved, content to live his life without doing anything particularly noticeable.
She wanted to turn the world upside down.
"I can't figure you out," he told her. "I don't understand why you're so desperate for revolution."
"I can't figure you out," she retorted. "How can you sit there when there's so much wrong with the world?"
He shrugged. "You can't change something that doesn't want to be changed. The king is stubborn and set in his ways. Just let the old man die. Then we'll talk."
Those words rang through her head as she slit the king's throat.

Excellent drabble Spector. Someone (I can’t remember who) said something like, “the reasonable man accepts the world for what it is, whilst the unreasonable man spends his life trying to change it. Therefore all progress is in the hands of the unreasonable man.” One might call this a slice of (royal) life. Welcome to Drablr. (Hope we can expect Future Nostalgia #2 and beyond soon...)
